Moldovan pupil awarded bronze medal at International Olympiade of Biology

Chisinau, 04 August /MOLDPRES/ – A Moldovan pupil won the bronze medal at the International Olympiade of Biology.

The education, culture and research ministry’s press service announced that the medal was obtained by Anna Culinscaia, a pupil of XIth form at Orizont Theoretical Lyceum in Chisinau.

The team of the Republic of Moldova was represented by four pupils. The contest was composed of practical proof and theoretical evidence.

There participated 254 pupils from 67 countries of the world at the contest. It was held from 23 – 30 July in Coventry, UK.

Similarly, during the period 16-24 July, the International Olympiad in Physics took place, where Moldovan pupils got four honourable mentions.
