Moldova Business Week 2017 to bring together companies from 56 states

Chisinau, 4 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Economics and Infrastructure Ministry informs about the most comprehensive economic event of the country, Moldova Business Week 2017. Business people, local and foreign investors, along with state’s authorities and development partners will bring together on 3-6 October to tackle two of the most important fields: investments and exports.
The agenda of Moldova Business Week 2017 includes 30 business events, structured according to 12 panels of discussions, due to be held by 50 speakers in front of about 1,000 participants. Also, a Moldovan-Italian business forum and a Forum of Exporters, five B2B sessions of meetings, three visits to big producers from the agro-food sector, textiles, clothes, footwear and leather, as well as a presentation of objects put up for privatization will be organized.
The Moldovan-Italian business forum will take place on 4 October and will be organized in partnership with the Embassy of Italy in Moldova and the bilateral chambers of commerce. The participants in the forum will discuss the presence of Italian companies in Moldova, sectors with potential for investments and trade. The forum of exporters will be held on 5 October and will approach topics on the Moldovan export in terms of competitiveness, assistance instruments, access to new markets and will end with a gala of awarding prizes to exporters who distinguished themselves in 2016.
A project titled, Online Platform – Eco Moldova Products, will be launched on 4 October. The project’s goal is to promote ecological goods, interaction between producers and consumers for the online supply of traditional and ecological products, as well as of the digital content of the information related to them. Visits in the territory to industrial parks and free economic zones, companies from the agro-food sector and light industry will take place on the same day.
The most important economic event of the year will approach also opportunities of regional economic development in the poles of growth from free economic zones and industrial parks, as well as the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises, at a conference scheduled for 6 October.
High-ranking officials from 39 countries, as well as companies from 56 states were invited to Moldova Business Week 2017.
The business week is organized by the Economics and Infrastructure Ministry in partnership with the Investments Attraction and Exports Promotion Organization.
