Civil servants beginners of Moldova's State Chancellery take oath

Chisinau, 9 August /MOLDPRES/ - More employees of the State Chancellery today took the oath, following the successful promotion of the trial period by civil servants beginners, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The civil servants swore to observe Moldova’s Constitution, fundamental human rights and freedoms, to defend the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Moldova, to objectively and impartially enforce the country’s laws, conscientiously fulfill their duties in exercising the public office and observe the professional conduct rules.
At the event, Government Secretary General Lilia Palii congratulated the young civil servants for the successful promotion of the trial period. “The public office is extremely important, especially given that the civil servant contributes to the edifying of the country’s future. We wish you courage, abnegation, to serve faithfully the Motherland and the citizens of Moldova. Welcome to the team of civil servants,” Lilia Palii said.
The civil servants beginners take their oath under the Article 32 of the Law on public office and the status of civil servant No 158-XVI from 4 July 2008.
