Meteorologists announce yellow code of heat in upcoming days in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 August /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) today announced the yellow code of heat for 11 – 13 August.

According to meteorologists, the maximum air temperature in the upcoming days will reach values of 33ºC and more.

According to data by SHS, the minimum air temperature of +15 degrees is forecast at night in the north of the country and +33 degrees during the day in the south of the country.

The doctors recommend to limit the duration of walks and sunbathing from 10:00 - 18:00, intense physical effort, wearing clothes made of natural fibres bright colors, headwear with caps and hats. It is advised to consume an average of 2-3 liters of not too cold water, tea, fresh fruits/vegetables, avoiding alcoholic beverages and those containing caffeine.
