Chisinau, 10 August /MOLDPRES/- The Court of Accounts’ report on performance audit “The efficiency of the public patrimony management by the Cricova winery and Cricova-Vin business and tourism centre in 2015-2016” will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 11 August.
According to the court, audit evidence shows that the actions taken by the managers of the aforementioned companies audited in 2016 contributed to the net profit by Cricova winery worth 15.9 million lei.
However, the audit identified a number of irregularities, including the lack of a program defining the development directions of the winery, lack of internal regulations for organization and functioning of the structural subdivisions of the audited joint stock companies and lack of risk management program.
At the same time, the court found that the inventory process of assets as set by law has not been carried out at the winery, and proper bookkeeping of costs of the services and formation of their prices had not been ensured.
Cricova winery was set up on 6 October 1999 by the reorganization of the state-owned enterprise company of champagne and wines “Cricova” and is the successor to the right of patrimonial rights and obligations, including those related to land. According to the ownership form, Cricova winery is a joint-stock company and operates under the internal statute and regulation, with a state share in the authorized capital is 182.6 million lei and represents 100 per cent.
Cricova winery is the country’s visiting card, a unique cultural and landscape complex, exponent of social and economic development of the country, leader in the implementation of world achievements in the field.
