Moldovan deputy premier meets Ukrainian envoy

Chisinau, 14 August /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan today met Ukrainian Ambassador to Moldova Ivan Gnatishin, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.
The officials opted for advancing the Moldovan-Ukrainian dialogue at various levels and settling in close terms the problems on the bilateral agenda.
Balan informed about the current situation in the Transnistrian conflict settlement and pointed out the need to continue the dialogue within all existing platforms.
The sides set the government priorities in promoting the country’s reintegration and positive obligations assumed to the people of both banks of the Dniestre.
Also, the officials mentioned the need to boost the dialogue between the authorities of Moldova and Ukraine to achieve agreements previously agreed, including in terms of completion of the state border demarcation process, securing it and extending joint control to all border crossing points on the Transnistrian segment of the Moldovan-Ukrainian state border.
