Chisinau-Bucharest train tickets to be cheaper by over 30 per cent

Chisinau, 14 August /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau-Bucharest train tickets will be cheaper almost by 10 euros, as a result of agreements reached by the Moldovan and Romanian railway administrations.
According to a press release by the Railway of Moldova (CFM), “following the bilateral meetings between the Moldovan and Romanian Rail Administrations, travelers who will opt for CFM services for Chisinau-Bucharest will be able to benefit from new rates for purchasing travel tickets on this relationship”. Thus, through the SMART Friendship offer, passengers will be able to purchase low-cost tickets at a price of 19 euros against 29 euros.
SMART Friendship - international ID card is an IRT type (included reservation ticket) respectively at global price, and is sold by CFR Calatori via international electronic system RoTicket, and CFM can exceptionally issue manually tickets for this type of offer through the ticket sales office in Chisinau until this type of electronic system is installed in Chisinau railway station.
SMART Friendship ticket can be issued for a simple trip and an individual traveler on Bucharest-Chisinau and Chisinau-Bucharest respectively. CFM also informs that the number of tickets is limited.
