Moldova to get over 1.7 million dollars to modernize government services

Chisinau, 17 August /MOLDPRES/- The law on ratification of the agreement between Moldova and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development to support the project “Modernizing government services” will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 18 August.
The draft is to be worked out and implemented by the State Chancellery and Electronic Governance Centre.
Under the document, the government plans to carry out qualitative and quantitative transformation of administrative public services responsible for delivery of which are the central public administration authorities by removing over-time services or merging several service into one, increasing access to public services at local level, reducing the number of documents required to provide public services, as well as duration of the provision, transparent and fair tariffs for public services provided for a fee, ensuring a high level of delivery of government services.
The implementation period of the agreement is 12 months.
