Moldovan prime minister sends condolences to Finnish people in connection with terrorist attack

Chisinau, 20 August /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip sent a message of condolences to his counterpart in Finland, Juha Sipilä, and the Finnish people in connection with the terrorist attack, which took place on 18 August 2017, in Turku, the government’s communications and protocol department has reported.
"In these moments of hard work, I would like to address, on behalf of the Moldovan Government and myself, our whole compassion. We firmly condemn this terrorist act against innocent people and express our full solidarity with the friendship people of the Republic of Finland," says the message of Pavel Filip.
The Finnish authorities announced that two people were killed and six others were injured in an attack on 18 August afternoon in the Finnish city of Turku.
