Anticorruption officers conduct searches at Justice, Education Ministries

Chisinau, 21 August /MOLDPRES/- Anticorruption prosecutors and National Anticorruption Centre (CNA) officers today conducted searches at the Ministries of Justice, Education, Culture and Research in several cases on corruption and influence peddling.

CNA spokeswoman Angela Starinschi noted that searches are taking place in several cases on corruption and influence peddling involving employees of the Ministries of Justice, Education, Culture and Research, notaries, as well as representatives of translation offices.

“These people are suspected of illegally making acts for Moldovan and foreign citizens. We will come back with more details later”, Starinschi said.
