Moldovan government team won first edition of Diaspora Cup in mini-football

Chisinau, 21 August /MOLDPRES/- On 20 August 2017, the Diaspora Cup in mini-football was disputed in the context of marking Diaspora Days 2017. Attending the event were four teams of representatives of government, Diaspora of Moldova, Sports Press and Specialized Football Sports School No1 in Chisinau, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Thus, the Moldovan government team ranked first and holder of the Diaspora Cup 2017. The second place was the team of the Specialized Football School No1 in Chisinau. The sports press team took third place, and the Diaspora team ranked fourth.
On 18-20 August 2017, under the auspices of the Moldovan government, the Diaspora Relations Bureau of the state chancellery organized Diaspora Days in Moldova, fourth issue. All activities were meant to consolidate communication between government and diaspora, mobilize diaspora associations and civil society for sustainable development of Moldova.
Diaspora Days are held annually at the end of the third week of August, under the patronage of the government.
