Firefighters carry out checks in kindergartens, schools of Moldova

Chisinau, 23 August /MOLDPRES/ – The Civil Protection and Emergency Situations Service (SPCSE) announced to have been finalizing the fire risks assessment in education institutions of Moldova, today. Over 1,900 educational institutions have already been checked.

According to the SPCSE’s info, within the month of August, the firefighters checked the state of preparation of schools and kindergartens for the beginning of the school year. the inspection of the evacuation routes of the institutions, the means of intervention in case of fire, the functioning of the signaling systems, as well as the inspection of evacuation plans in risk situations.

According to the cited source, a special attention was paid to the completeness of the study programs with lessons that include the fire-fighting rules.

According to an order from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, the school year 2017-2018 will start on Friday, 01 September. The solemn celebrations will begin at 08.30 in all educational institutions and will be followed by lessons dedicated to the celebration of a century from the appearance of poem Lombe Noastra (Our Language) by Alexei Mateevici.
