Moldovan prime minister has telephone conversation with counterpart of Ukraine

Chisinau, 23 August /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian Prime Minister, Volodimir Groisman, today, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
During the discussion, the two officials exchanged views on current themes of common interest, on Moldovan-Ukrainian relations and the prospects for their development.
Taking into account the marking on 24 and 27 August of the Days of Independence of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, Prime Ministers Pavel Filip and Volodimir Groisman conveyed mutual congratulations to the peoples of Moldova and Ukraine.
Mentioning the positive dynamics of bilateral contacts between the governmental institutions of Moldova and Ukraine, the Heads of Governments declared their readiness to hold on the positive dynamics of political dialogue and multilateral cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
They also referred upon the need to strengthen efforts in the context of the challenges and problems faced by the neighbouring state and the Republic of Moldova, as well as the importance of creating the necessary conditions for setting a meeting of the Moldovan-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation by the end of 2017.
