Chisinau, 23 August /MOLDPRES/- The cabinet today approved a draft decision, according to which the staff of the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) will be reduced by 33 units to 295 in the context of the central public administration reform.
The expected changes are due to the optimization of positions, divisions and departments, exclusion of general departments, reduction of current number of directorates, as well as reorganizing the territorial agencies subordinated to the CNAM by the liquidation of two territorial agencies out of the seven existing ones.
The aim of reforming the CNAM is to make it more efficient and responsible authority, to consolidate all actions focused on citizens’ interests, using financial resources efficiently so that finally it becomes an “important catalyst for the continuous and sustainable development of the mandatory health insurance system”.
