Action and solidarity party files complaint with Prosecutor General's office against president of Moldova

Chisinau, 29 August /MOLDPRES/ – The Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) filed a denouncement with the Prosecutor General's Office against the head of state, Igor Dodon, today.

The lawyer of PAS, Sergiu Litvinenco, specified that the denouncement was based on several illegal actions that would have been committed by Igor Dodon. "I indicated in the denunciation the crime of homeland betrayal and national, ethnic and religious disunity. We presented all the actions that we have considered illegal and unconstitutional in the document," said Litvinenco.

Interviewed by the agency, the head of the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office, Maria Vieru, said that "after the registration of the denouncement, it is to be examined and later the petitioner will be informed about the decision of the law enforcement body," said Vieru.

The president of Moldova has not commented on the action until this hour.
