Moldovan government approves 523 decisions in first half of 2017

Chisinau, 29 August /MOLDPRES/ – The Government examined 536 draft decisions in the 21 meetings during the first six months of 2017, out of which 523 were approved and 13 were excluded. However, on 30 June 2017, out of the 523 approved projects, 498 were issued, 23 were in the process of issuance, and two decisions were approved regarding the annulment of the protocol entry, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The Government has made strong efforts to promote a number of outstanding projects in recent years, commencing 2016, especially projects stemming from Moldova's commitments reflected in the Action Plan on the implementation of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement.

By comparison, in the first half of 2016, the Executive issued 817 decisions, 39 per cent (or 319) more than in the similar period of 2017. And in the first six months of 2017, there were issued 21.8 per cent or 89 decisions more than in the same period of 2015, when there were adopted only 409 decisions.

Also, there were issued 68 government orders in the first semester of 2017, with 8 fewer than in the similar period of 2016 (76 provisions) and 4 less than in the same period of 2015 (72 provisions).

There were submitted 536 draft decisions for consideration by the Ministries and other administrative authorities in the Government meeting as follows:

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration: 110 (20, per cent);

Ministry of Economy: 56 (10.4 per cent);

Ministry of Labour, Social Protection and Family: 44 (8.2 per cent);

Ministry of Finance: 44 (8.2 per cent);

State Chancellery: 34 (6.3 per cent).

Ministry of Healthcare: 34 (6.3 per cent);

Ministry of Internal Affairs: 33 (6.2 per cent);

Ministry of Justice: 30 (5.6 per cent);

Ministry of Education: 30 (5.6 per cent);

Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry: 24 (4.5 per cent);

Agency of Land Relations and Cadastre: 17 (3.2 per cent);

Ministry of Information Technology and Communications: 13 (2.4 per cent);

Ministry of the Environment: 13 (2.4 per cent);

Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure: 12 (2.2 per cent);

Ministry of Culture: 11 (2.1 per cent);

Ministry of Regional Development and Construction: 9 (1.7 per cent);

Ministry of Defence: 9 (1.7 per cent);

National Bureau of Statistics: 7 (1.3 per cent);

Ministry of Youth and Sports: 2 (0.3 per cent);

Tourism Agency: 2 (0.4 per cent);

Material Reserves Agency: 1 (0.2 per cent);

Bureau of Interethnic Relations: 1 (0.2 per cent).
