Chisinau, 26 September /MOLDPRES/ - The single desk will start working in the next months. Prime Minister Pavel Filip today made statements to this effect after a weekly meeting of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM).
According to the PM, the citizens will benefit from services on behalf of the state at a single desk, where they will go only with the identity card and will be provided qualitative services. “The achievement of the goals of the Public Services Agency was unveiled as an action plan today. The Agency’s working principle is as follows: at a single desk, one operator and only with the identity card. We want to carry out this project quickly, which we think will be appreciated by the citizens,” Pavel Filip said.
At the same time, the prime minister noted that it was important that people know the benefits of this institution.”This agency is already functional. When we speak that only the identity card should be presented, it would mean that people must not present also other certificates, as all these services are in a single service,” Filip said.
The Public Services Agency was created by the government in April 2017. The new structure sees that the State Enterprise “Registru” State Information Resources Centre is reorganized through transformation into a public institution, Public Services Agency, which will be subordinated to the government. At the same time, the state enterprise State Registration Chamber, state enterprise Cadastru, Registrar’s Office at the Justice Ministry and the Licencing Chamber of the Economics Ministry will be part of the new entity by merger. As a result of the institutions’ unification, the tariffs for the services provided will be cut.
Also today, the prime minister said that he had proposed the PDM colleagues an initiative, according to which an additional budget is to be earmarked to the state institutions which will cooperate with non-governmental organizations in the process of working out policies.
