Over 120 new medicines to be sold in drug stores from Moldova

Chisinau, 26 September /MOLDPRES/ - Over 120 new medicines will be commercialized in Moldovan drug stores. The medicines were authorized by the National Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AMDM).
The AMDM press service today said that the medicines, authorized for the Moldovan market for the first time ever, were meant for patients with heart failure, multiple sclerosis, treating diseases of the nasal cavity and infections of the respiratory ways, etc.
AMDM registered also the new producer prices for 251 goods. On average, in the Moldovan currency, the prices are by almost 11 per cent lower than the ones recorded so far in the national register of producer prices for medicines. Under the legislation in force, the producer prices are valid during one year, after which they are to be reevaluated.
At the same time, 220 authorizations for the import of medicines were provided. On the same period, the AMDM laboratory for the medicines’ quality control checked over 2,700 batches with pharmaceutical preparations, all recognized as qualitative, efficient and inoffensive.
