Moldovan PM conveys congratulatory message on World Tourism Day

Chisinau, 27 September /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip today conveyed a congratulatory message on the World Tourism Day, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The message says:
”Today we mark the World Tourism Day, on the occasion of which I convey sincere congratulations to all employees of the sector.
The 2017 year was declared by the UN as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. We have responsibility to promote this activity, in order to transform the society where we live into a better place, full of understanding and well-being.
This sector contributes to a sustainable development of the national economy through providing new jobs, restoration of the infrastructure and developing the domestic trade. That is why the development of tourism, stimulation of the work of enterprises from this sector is permanently in the government’s focus of attention.
Tourism represents for Moldova an extra opportunity to attract investments and become competitive on this market of the region. I sincerely believe that, by joint efforts, we can do that the tourism of Moldova be a prosperous branch and our country become a tourism attraction in the region.”
