Moldovans returned home from France to benefit from support in reintegration process

Chisinau, 27 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan migrants returning to Moldova from France will benefit from support for social reintegration, employment or starting a business. To this end, the cabinet of ministers today approved the signing of a Moldovan-French agreement, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Under the document, the support will be provided depending on the person’s needs, as well as on the social situation and the one of the family. Thus, in the case of the social reintegration, the beneficiaries and their families will receive material and financial assistance for a period of six months at the most. The financial resources offered will be able to be used to cover the household necessities, including for the payment of a part of the dwelling’s rent, as well as to ensure the spending for health and the one for schooling.
Also, the migrants returned to Moldova from France, willing to get employed, will benefit from services of consultancy in choosing the job, support for the adaptation and meeting the requirements of the employer, as well as a supplement of 50 per cent to the gross salary during the first year. Those willing to start their own business will receive aid as well. They will enjoy support to carry out the feasibility study, as well as for the technical and qualification training of the staff. At the same time, they will also benefit from financial allocation for the implementation of the idea of business.
The beneficiaries will be selected based on eligibility criteria by a commission made up of representatives of the authorities from Moldova and France.
