Deputy prime minister sticks to maintaining mutually beneficial cooperation of Moldova, Ukraine

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister, Gheorghe Balan, attended a round table on "Cooperation between Moldova and Ukraine: Cooperation, Competition, Interdependence" organized by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Ukraine, the office for reintegration policy’s information and media communication service has reported.
During the event, a wide range of topics were discussed on present condition of Moldovan – Ukrainian relations and prospects for their development in more fields.
Gheorghe Balan appreciated dynamics of bilateral relations and pleaded for deepening of the cooperation between Moldova and Ukraine, mentioning the need to take measures to deescalate and stabilize the regional situation, as well as supporting unconditionally the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Deputy Prime Minister also stressed Ukraine's active involvement in providing assistance to support the regulatory process as a mediator within the "5+2" negotiation format.
