Moldovan deputy premier participates in meeting of administrative board of Support to Confidence Building Measures Programme

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan has participated in a meeting of the administrative board of the Support to Confidence Building Measures Programme, financed by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The participants in the meeting unveiled the results achieved in April-September 2017 and analyzed goals for the next semester.
In the context, Gheorghe Balan noted that the authorities will continue promoting a close relation and based on trust with UNDP, in order to ensure an effective and successful implementation of the projects able to improve the living standards in the villages and small towns of Moldova, especially in the settlements from the Transnistrian region and the Security Zone.
Also, Balan stressed the need to create opportunities of regional economic development, by ensuring access to qualitative services of education and health, through providing more accessible and more efficient services and by creating new jobs.
