Deputy premier attends meeting of parliamentary platform for carrying out Moldova's reintegration policy

Chisinau, 29 September /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan today participated in a meeting of the parliamentary platform on consultation and parliamentary control for carrying out Moldova’s reintegration policy, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.  

At the meeting, Gheorghe Balan came up with a report on the latest developments recorded in the process of negotiations on the Transnistrian settlement and approaches by Chisinau and Tiraspol on subjects on the agenda of the talks.

The deputy prime minister informed about the present difficulties on certain dimensions and problems faced by residents from both banks of Dniester. In particular, the participants in the meeting discussed topics of the so-called Berlin plus package, namely:  

1) Apostilling the education documents from the Transnistrian region; 
2) Issue of vehicles with registration numbers from the Transnistrian region;
3) Organizing interactions in the telecommunications sector;  
4) Situation of the criminal files opened on both banks of Dniester;  
5) Settling difficulties faced by the Latin-script Moldovan schools; 
6) Ensuring access of farmers from the eastern Dubasari district to farmlands placed beyond the Camenca-Tiraspol highway;   
7) Removing artificial obstacles to the free movement;  
8) Opening of the Gura–Bicului bridge.
