Moldovan, Finnish officials approach bilateral cooperaiton

Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/- On the sidelines of the Riga Conference, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur had a meeting with Finland's Foreign Ministry State Secretary Samuli Virtanen.

According to the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media relations service, the talks focused on the agenda of Moldovan-Finnish bilateral relations and the perspectives for their development.

The sides approached the need to boost the bilateral cooperation for enhancing the communication capacities of the benefits of European integration among the Moldovan citizens.

The officials also exchanged views on the latest political, economic and security developments in the region.

In another context, the sides broached the issue on preparation for the Eastern Partnership Summit due in November 2017.
