Moldovan foreign affairs ministry takes efforts to learn whether there are Moldovans among victims in Las Vegas

Chisinau, 2 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) has taken note of an armed attack which took place at the Mandalay Bay casino from the Las Vegas city, in the wake of which over 20 persons died and about 200 were injured, the MAEIE public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.

MAEIE and Moldova’s Embassy in the United States monitor the consequences of the armed attack and make needed intercessions with the American authorities, in order to learn whether there are citizens of Moldova among the victims of the incident. In this respect, MAEIE will come up with additional information.
