MOLDPRES agency to be main partner of 13th world meeting of Bulgarian media

Chisinau, 3 October /MOLDPRES/- The State News Agency MOLDPRES will be the main partner of the 13th World Meeting of Bulgarian Media, due in Chisinau on 4-8 October 2017. Director of the Bulgarian news agency BTA Maxim Minchev made the statement in an interview with the State News Agency MOLDPRES.
Minchev said that the media partners are the professional news agencies in the host country. “We have worked with ANSA in Italy, EFE in Spain, AGERPRES in Romania, ANA-MPA in Greece, ANP in the Netherlands, CTK in the Czech Republic, TANYUG in Serbia, and we are very glad that in 2017 our main partner is the news agency MOLDPRES”, he said.
Minchev noted that the official opening of the forum will take place at the National Museum of History of Moldova. “A photo exhibition by BTA agency will be inaugurated at the event, followed by a visit to Taraclia and a meeting at the State University of this locality. The main topics will focus on: education, culture, mother tongue and bilateral relations”, he said.
At the same time, the participants in the forum will visit the sights of Moldova and will participate in Wine Day, due on 7 October.
The World Forum of Bulgarian Media has been held since 2005. So far, the meeting took place in Sofia, Chicago, Rome, Madrid, Varna and Burgas, Vienna, Amsterdam and Bucharest, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Bosilegrad, Athens and Prague.
The event will be inaugurated by Bulgaria’s Deputy Speaker Iliana Yotova. Attending the event will be also Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva, Minister of Education and Science Krasimir Vulchev, Defense Minister Krasimir Karakachanov, Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova, as well as members of the Bulgarian parliament.
