Moldovan foreign ministry states position on referendum in Catalonia

Chisinau, 4 October /MOLDPRES/- Regarding the referendum in the Catalan region, which was organized in contradiction with the constitutional provisions, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry of Moldova reiterates its position on the need to respect the principle of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Spain, MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media relations service has reported.

The ministry calls on all parties to engage in a dialogue based on the constitutional framework in overcoming the current crisis.
