Moldovan cabinet approves regulation on organization, work of prime minister's control corps

Chisinau, 4 October /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved a regulation on the organization and work of the prime minister’s control corps, - a structure within the State Chancellery, without legal personality and directly subordinated to the PM.
Under the document, the prime minister’s control corps will check the carrying out by the State Chancellery, ministries and other central administrative authorities and organizational structures of the powers provided for in the normative framework. Also, the control corps will make controls due to regard the fulfillment of the tasks set in the government’s acts, in the cabinet’s action programme and in other documents of public policies, as well as in the instructions by the PM.
The control corps’ staff will be of eight units, due to be created from the staff units stipulated for the office of the prime minister and the office of the deputy prime minister.
The decision also sees that the government’s secretary general is appointed to office and dismissed from post by the government and is directly subordinated to the prime minister. The deputy secretary generals are appointed and dismissed from office by the cabinet.
