Chisinau, 5 October /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip today conveyed a congratulatory message on World Education Day, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The message reads:
“Distinguished and dear professors, teachers and educators,
On the occasion of the World Education Day, on behalf of the government and on my own behalf, I express my respect for your efforts in the intellectual education and training young people and new generations of Moldovan citizens.
Achieving the goal of bringing Moldova into the community of European countries, ensuring the competitive development of the economy cannot be carried out unless we opt for Educated Moldova.
The goal of the current government and my personal ambition is to give children an education that will enable them to achieve their potential and become responsible citizens with a strong sense of patriotism.
This means that the new education will be proactive, use digital generation tools, provide an environment where the unique talent of child will be discovered, and the school will help parents in their relationship with children and teachers. At the same time, the teacher will have several roles in this process: transmission of knowledge, motivation and counseling.
Dear teachers,
Development of national education in the present conditions cannot be achieved only through the partnership between government and teachers. Success can only be got via partnership of several actors – teachers, local and central authorities, parents, business community, civil society.
Dear teachers,
I thank you for your dedication and wish you success in noble and not easy work, inspiration and strength to open up the way to the universe of knowledge and educate responsible citizens and patriots”.
