Moldova, Turkmenistan mark 25th anniversary of diplomatic ties' establishment

Chisinau, 5 October /MOLDPRES/ – On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Turkmenistan, Foreign Ministers of both states, Andrei Galbur and Rashid Meredov, exchanged congratulatory messages, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.

Deputy Prime Minister, Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, remarked in congratulatory message to the Turkmen counterpart the ascendant course of bilateral relations during that period and outlined the contribution of the two diplomats to their development.

Minister Galbur expressed confidence that bilateral interaction would continue to develop in the spirit of mutual respect and constructive dialogue, defining elements of Moldovan – Turkmen relations, pointing out the Moldovan side’s desire to advance cooperation in the most diverse areas.

At his turn, Deputy Prime Minister, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov mentioned the prospects for boosting cooperation between Moldova and Turkmenistan in the political, commercial, economic and cultural – humanitarian fields.
