Chisinau, 5 October /MOLDPRES/ - A press centre of the BTA News Agency from Bulgaria was opened in Taraclia, southern Moldova, today. The event took place within the Thirteenth World Meeting of Bulgarian Media.
A journalist due to make informative materials about economic, social, cultural and political events from this settlement will work at the centre. Also, the reporter will cover the Moldovan-Bulgarian relations, as well as the life of the ethnic Bulgarians from Moldova.
BTA Director Maxim Minchev told MOLDPRES that the idea to set up this centre had appeared more time ago. “We are happy that we have managed to achieve this goal. Due to the new centre, the Bulgarians from Moldova and the ones from our country will be closer,” Minchev said.
The press centre will be at the Taraclia mayoralty. The opening of the centre cost 3,000 euros – money provided by the Bulgarian state for the works of repair, furniture and modern technology.
The BTA News Agency has 15 press centres in Bulgaria. At the same time, a BTA press centre has been earlier open in Serbia as well.
