Moldova, Belarus to cooperate in legal information sector

Chisinau, 17 October /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova and Belarus will cooperate in the legal information sector. A cooperation agreement to this end has been recently signed by the Legal Information Centre (CIJ), subordinated to the Justice Ministry, and its counterpart from Belarus.
According to the Justice Ministry’s press service, the CIJ representatives will exchange experience in the process of online publication of legal acts and electronic translation. Also, a special module meant for children will be created, in order to raise the level of general culture in the legal sector.
At the same time, the document sees that the CIJ representatives will share with their colleagues from Belarus the experience of implementing the register of legal acts – Legis.md, as well as the information system meant for the legislative creation process –E-Legislatie (E-Legislation).
The Belarus authorities have been implementing a system of electronic publication of official acts for five years and the obligation of publication including on paper was excluded.
The recently signed agreement is the first document of this kind and additionally provides access to the databank of legal acts of Belarus, which contains all normative acts adopted.
