Moldovan citizen dies in traffic accident in Hungary

Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) of Moldova has informed about the fact that a car parked on roadway, moving to the Czech Republic, collided with a lorry registered in Romania on the highway M1, 65 km far from Budapest, today morning at 5:45.
According to the MAEIE public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service, the driver of the car, citizen of Moldova, died in the wake of the accident and his child was put in hospital in Tatabanya, Hungary. The minor’s state is not serious and his life is out of danger.
The Moldova’s Embassy in Budapest contacted the competent Hungarian authorities, in order to exactly establish the details on the case and identified and informed the relatives of the victims of the concerned accident.
The situation is further monitored by Moldova’s diplomatic mission in Hungary.
