First single window to be put into operation by late 2017

Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/- First single window will be put into operation by late 2017 and then other windows will become operational in the country’s districts. Spokesman of the Democratic Party of Moldova Vitalie Gamurari made the statement today.

The implementation of the system has already begun and today the government was asked for information on the terms of its implementation.

“The single window concept comes only in the interest of citizens. This will allow limiting the number of structures and agencies the citizen has to visit, and will lower certain taxes. It is a good thing that has proven its effectiveness in other countries. We are working very hard on this project. The first single window will be put into operation by late 2017, and after the New Year the windows from all districts of the country will be functional”, Gamurari said.

The Public Service Agency was created by the government by late April 2017. The new structure provides that the “Registru” state-owned enterprise is reorganized by transformation into the public institution “Agency of Public Services”, which will be subordinated to the government. At the same time, the new entity will comprise the “State Registration Chamber”, “Cadastru”, Civil Status Service subordinated to the Justice Ministry and Licensing Chamber under the Ministry of Economy. Following the unification of institutions, tariffs for services will be reduced.
