Moldovan foreign ministry conveys message on United Nations Day

Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/- The Foreign and European Integration Ministry conveyed a message on United Nations Day, MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media relations service has reported.
The message reads:
“Today, 24 October, the international community celebrates the 72nd anniversary of the United Nations.
In the 72 years since its founding, the UN always promotes the fundamental goals of the world community set in the UN Charter, such as maintaining peace and security, advancing economic prosperity and human rights.
Moldova participates and actively contributes to identifying solutions to the global problems and challenges faced by the international community during 25 years since its accession to the UN.
The Moldovan authorities highly appreciate the UN development assistance in various fields and closely cooperate with UNDP and other UN programmes and specialized agencies.
The ministry congratulates all employees of UN structures, including those accredited in Moldova on this occasion”.
