International finance corporation to stipulate technical assistance, advisory services to authorities in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ – The International Finance Corporation will provide technical assistance and advisory services to the authorities in Chisinau, amounting up to $3,200,000 with a government contribution of 5 per cent and a $100,000 one from the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure of Moldova.
The provisions are included in the Agreement between the Government of Moldova and the International Finance Corporation, which will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 03 November 2017.
The agreement aims at improving the business climate in agricultural sector, increasing competitiveness of the private sector market as to increase exports and investments into Moldova.
The agreement will provide advice and assistance on three areas: improving the business environment, enhancing market access with an emphasis on the agro – industrial sector and increasing the level of investment protection.
Referred to it, the Government will take all necessary measures to implement the provisions of the Agreement.
The agreement was signed on 24 July 2017.
