Moldovan PM calls for more effective implementation of actions within EU-RM association agreement

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, chaired the meeting of the Governmental Commission for European Integration (CGIE) on 1 November 2017. There were reviewed recent developments within implementation of the EU – Moldova Association Agreement, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
Premier Pavel Filip mentioned that in October a series of bilateral meetings took place with participation of authorities in Chisinau and EU representatives. They aimed at assessing the current situation regarding the implementation of the EU – Moldova Association Agreement and setting priorities for the next period. "Also, at the joint meeting of government and parliament we synchronized our agendas so that by the end of 2017 we will be able to achieve the assumed commitments," said Pavel Filip.
Similarly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration presented the evolutions registered in implementation of the National Action Plan Moldova – EU in the third quarter of 2017. In this context, the head of the Executive called for greater mobilization by the authorities and a more effective implementation of the actions provided for in the Association Agreement.
"We ought to have a responsible and serious approach, our only argument is the results," said PM.
