Moldovan PM meets Ambassador of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip today held a meeting with Ambassador of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, residing in Bucharest, Saker Malkawi, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The officials expressed interest in expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest and fostering the Moldovan-Jordanian political dialogue, including by boosting high-level visits.
The premier appreciated the cooperation between the two states within the international organizations, noting that the appointment of the Honorary Consul of Moldova in Jordan represents an opportunity for development of bilateral relations.
Filip referred to the importance of fully turning to good account the economic potential among states, and pointed out the measures taken by the government to create an attractive business environment for investment. In this context, he highlighted the need to actively promote business opportunities, including by organizing mutual visits and forums that will facilitate the establishment of direct business contacts.
Saker Malkawi approached the need to simplify the visa procedures for Jordanian citizens who want to visit Moldova, which will allow the flow of businessmen and tourists from this country.
The two officials also exchanged views on collaboration in educational, pharmaceutical and cultural fields, mentioning the benefits of recognition in Jordan of the diplomas of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu”.
