Tiraspol representatives violate existing regime in Security Zone

Chisinau, 3 November /MOLDPRES/- In Bender city, an ordinary meeting of the Joint Control Commission (JCC), chaired by the Moldovan delegation, was held on 2 November, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.

Two topics were on the agenda: the organizational issue and the Joint Military Command report on the weekly situation in the Security Zone.

In terms of the organizational issue, at the request of the Moldovan delegation, the JCC approved as a military observer Colonel Nicolai Gasnas.

Subsequently, the JCC heard and approved the report on the situation in the Security Zone on 25.10-31.10.2017. During the talks, the Moldovan component has drawn the attention of the commission’s representatives that the information on the 27 October incident concerning blocking the movement of quadrilateral group of military observers to document events at the Kolos-Dinamo stadium in Bender was not set in the report.

In the context, the Moldovan delegation has issued a statement addressing the other components of the JCC with a request to help stop the illegal actions taken by the so-called Transnistrian military formations in the Security Zone and ensure compliance with the provisions of the Agreement of 21.07.1992 and the JCC decisions.

The next meeting of the commission will take place on 9 November 2017.
