Exhibition of Moldovan artist presented at government

Chisinau, 7 November /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip attended with the Cabinet of Ministers the inauguration of the exhibition of plastic artist Mihai Tarus, presented in the government building today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The Prime Minister said that the initiative of organizing the event came from the desire to capitalize and promote the national art, emphasizing that the foreign delegations visiting the Government would have the opportunity to admire the exhibits. "If we want for the image of Moldova to be beautiful outside, why not to show this beauty here within interior. We have talents to be promoted," said the Prime Minister.
At the same time, the Prime Minister mentioned that the generic of the exhibition “Transparente” (Transparencies) has been a symbolic one for the Executive, which aims to ensure maximum transparency in its activity. Pavel Filip also emphasized that art exhibitions would take place regularly in the building of the institution, noting that the paintings create a positive atmosphere and that that example should have been taken over by other public authorities.
At her turn, Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Monica Babuc, welcomed the initiative of the Prime Minister to promote cultural values in the Government headquarters. "Master Tarus demonstrated through his work that the Moldova is Europe on the move and that we can show the most beautiful values throughout our culture people," said Monica Babuc.
Painter Mihai Tarus thanked the authorities for the opportunity to vernise his works in the Government and convey to the public the inner states of a man of art.
Mihai Tarus is a famous plastic artist appreciated in Moldova and abroad. His works have been exhibited in famous galleries in the United States, Finland and France. On the premises of the Government, twenty one works of the master are presented at exhibition Transparencies.
