Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - After the second stage of the pensions’ recalculation had been carried out, on 1 November 2017, 67,961 people benefited from increase of pensions. Prime Minister Pavel Filip made statements to this effect in the beginning a cabinet meeting today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
“We made the first step before term, as the next stage was scheduled for 1 April 2018 and I am pleased to tell you that we see the positive results of the reform. All those who criticize the pension reform system should understand this,” Pavel Filip said.
The people whose pensions were established in the years 2009-2011 benefited from pension’s recalculation. The next two phases of recalculation imply increase of the pensions set in the years 2012-2014 and, respectively, on the period 2015 – 31 March 2017.
