Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) will soon come up with a new concept of managing the health and social protection systems, which will lead to removing inequities and abuses. PDM leader Vlad Plahotniuc made statements to this effect at the end of the formation’s National Political Council today.
According to Plahotniuc, the Democrats worked out a new concept of managing these sectors – one which is to have at its basis both the concept’s modernization and removing abuses. ‘’We will create better conditions for patients, as well as for physicians, so that the latter be motivated to work in Moldova,’’ Plahotniuc noted.
He added that another priority for 2018 would be the education field. ‘’In this sector, huge improvisation was made in the last years, and this fact led to extremely negative effects on children, parents and teachers. We pursue concrete goals and we believe that the reforms must not be carried out only for the sake of reforms, they must take into account the realities in the field, the real capacity to modernize it,’’ Plahotniuc stressed.
The members and leadership of Moldova’s Democratic Party today convened at the National Political Council. At the event, they summed up the work carried out in 2017 and adopted a resolution which sets the principles of the party’s activity for the long run.
