Chisinau, 19 December /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip backs the government reshuffling, which is a logical step, that proves the cabinet’s intention to be closer to citizens. “Changes are made when one is on the rise, in order to achieve better results,” Pavel Filip said today, after the leader of the Democratic Party (PDM), Vlad Plahotniuc, had announced the new government’s composition.
“The results are natural. We started with a very important reform: the government’s reform. After which we reintegrated it. This was not an easy process. The next step was the appointment of state secretaries, made objectively and transparently, in which professionals were chosen for each sector. We fit this process in a notion called full depoliticizing of the government. In the last phase, practically all ministers are out of political formations. I want to offer thanks to the ruling coalition for having made an important step, which must be pointed out,” Pavel Filip said.
The prime minister thanked all former ministers, noting that they had managed to get Moldova out of the crisis together.
“On this period, we have managed not only to return to discussions with foreign partners, but also to get financings. I have nothing but to be proud of this governmental team and I say with every certainty that, on the next period, we will prove good results, so that this governance is closer to citizens,” Pavel Filip added.
