New installment of International Monetary Fund confirms that government, parliament, BNM made important set of reforms - PM says

Chisinau, 21 December /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip states that the new installment of the International Monetary Fund confirms that the government, parliament and BNM have made yet another important set of commitments and reforms from those agreed with the IMF.
“The IMF Board of Directors today approved a new 22.2 million-dollar- installment for Moldova, after having endorsed the report on the government’s fulfillment of its commitments under the program. The money is for the citizens, will come as budget support and will be directed to their social and economic needs”, the premier said.
He added that “beyond the financial side, the new installment confirms that the government, parliament and BNM have made yet another important set of commitments and reforms from those agreed with IMF. We have much to do, and the government remains fully committed to the reform agenda and to delivering positive results for citizens”.
The IMF Executive Board approved on 20 December a new installment worth 15.7 million special drawing rights (about 22.2 million dollars) from 183.1 million-dollar-loan for Moldova.
