More air flights canceled due to fog

Chisinau, 5 January /MOLDPRES/- More air flights have been canceled due to dense fog on the Chisinau International Airport.

According to the airport information service, due to bad weather conditions, the flight to Istanbul was canceled and to Moscow will take off with a delay of one hour.

At the same time, there is delay of nearly an hour from landing flight in Moscow, and in Istanbul was canceled.

Representatives of the Chisinau International Airport noted that so far no flight has been redirected. “Other changes for today are not expected”, sources said.

The head of the weather forecasts centre of the State Hydrometeorological Service, Ghenadie Rosca, said that the fog will completely disperse during the day. “We will have fog in the night and morning of Saturday and Sunday this week”, he said.

According to meteorologists, the sky is variable today. The air temperatures of +2 degrees at night and +8 degrees during the day are expected for the next days.
