Moldovan premier introduces new cabinet members to staff

Chisinau, 10 January /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip today introduced the new cabinet members to the staffs they are going to lead. The PM thanked each team separately for the job done, noting that Moldova’s future depends on the policies carried out by the ministries. “A new year starts also with a new governmental formula. This year, we want to do much more than we have carried out during the previous years of work,” Pavel Filip said.
According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the series of introductions began at the Justice Ministry, which will be led by Alexandru Tanase. The prime minister said the new justice minister had a rich experience; he knows the present stakes for Moldova in the justice sector and would do his utmost to improve the things in this field, so that the trust in justice is enhanced.
The next introduction took place at the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry. According to the prime minister, Tudor Ulianovschi is a professional in the field and has an important experience in the foreign affairs sector. “You are to have an intensive work, yet, at the same time, efficient, so that, at the end of the mandate of this government, we can be proud that we have done our best, our utmost on the dimension of Moldova’s foreign policy,” Pavel Filip said.
While introducing Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Minister Liviu Volconovici to staff, the PM referred to the importance of investments in the agriculture sector, so that we have a modern and competitive agriculture.
At the introduction of the health, labour and social protection minister, the prime minister pointed out the professionalism and efficiency proved by Svetlana Cebotari as director of the National Blood Transfusion Centre. “We still have to do two important reforms in the health sector: the hospital reform and the primary medicine reform,” the PM said.
At the meeting with the team of the Bureau for Reintegration, due to be led by Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Lesnic, Pavel Filip highlighted the need to continue the positive developments for strengthening the trust between the two banks of Dniester.
While introducing to the staff Economics and Infrastructure Minister Chiril Gaburici, the prime minister said that he came with a solid experience in management, as well as with a governmental one. “I am fully confident that, in the current formula, we will achieve the goals expected by our citizens,” the prime minister added.
