Romanian diplomacy head congratulates Moldovan counterpart on swearing in office

Chisinau, 10 January /MOLDPRES/ - The head of the Romanian diplomacy, Teodor Melescanu, today congratulated his Moldovan counterpart Tudor Ulianovschi on his swearing in office and wished him success in carrying out his mandate.
According to the Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry, the two officials today had a phone conversation, within which the Romanian minister reiterated Romania’s support for the advancement of Moldova’s European integration. At the same time, the Romanian official highlighted the need to boost the reforms’ process to this end.
Also, Minister Teodor Melescanu invited the Moldovan official to pay a visit to Romania. Tudor Ulianovschi accepted the proposal.
Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi, along with other new members of the Filip Government, took oath today. The decrees on the appointment to office were signed by Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu, who temporarily exercised the interim duties of the Moldovan president, after Igor Dodon had repeatedly turned down the candidacies put forward by Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
