Moldovan deputy prime minister meets with EU Ambassador to Chisinau

Chisinau, 12 January /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Iurie Leanca, had a meeting today with the head of the European Union Delegation to Moldova, Peter Michalko, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The officials discussed Moldova’s European agenda, implementation of the Moldova – EU Association Agreement and the Government’s priorities for 2018 as to promote the European vector. Also, the deputy prime minister reiterated the importance of intensified communication with the accredited ambassadors in Chisinau.
The EU Ambassador to Chisinau said that the EU has been open to further support Moldova into implementation of the Association Agreement and reforms for the citizens benefit. Similarly, the European official wished him a great success to Iurie Leanca at the occasion of his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration.
