Foreign affairs minister meets UN Resident Coordinator in Moldova

Chisinau, 16 January /MOLDPRES/ – Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, met today with the UN Resident Coordinator, Permanent Representative of UNDP in Moldova, Dafina Gercheva, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.
During the meeting, it was made a review of Moldova's cooperation with the United Nations and the assistance programmes implemented in Moldova by financial support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The Minister expressed his gratitude for supporting reforms at national level, noting the UNDP projects’ positive impact in most diverse areas, including promoting human rights and capitalizing on human capital, social assistance and environmental protection projects, rural development programmes and others.
The Resident Coordinator wished the new Minister to succeed in his mandate and expressed confidence in continuing to cooperate in developing and promoting domestic reforms.
