Moldovan prime minister discusses with trade-unions' representatives

Chisinau, 16 January /MOLDPRES/ – The social reforms promoted by Executive and required actions for better employee protection were the main topics discussed by Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, at the meeting with representatives of the National Confederation of Trade Unions in Moldova (CNSM) today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The prime minister said that the Government still has relied on an open and sincere dialogue with the trade unions. "Thank you for always having the opportunity to talk, no matter how difficult the situation might be, and every time we found solutions to the existing problems," said Pavel Filip.
The Cabinet’s head also reviewed the main reforms promoted by the Government, including support for business development and investment growth, job creation, citizens’ social protection, health and education reforms. The prime minister said that the actions taken aim at improving the citizens’ living conditions and modernizing Moldova.
At his turn, Oleg Budza, head of CNSM, reiterated the support of the trade unions for the European course of Moldova and raising the living standards of the population.
Similarly, the meeting discussed the importance of creating the optimal conditions for employment of young people on labour market and maintenance of the professionals in Moldova. In this context, Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, said that the government has taken several actions on it, including provision of young families with advantageous housing.
